Hello, I'm currently running a larger sized reservoir that is filled with straight RO water. It is maintained at 67F and well aerated. This feeds three separate smaller feeding reservoirs, also aerated. I'm also growing in a biologically active soil. I don't want to put any additives in my largest stock reservoir, that I don't have to. What is the best way to maintain cleanliness, water quality, and handle proper PH or CAL/MG deficiency/supplementation from the RO water.
I am using a well limed compost and peat based organic soil mix.
Should I be using just hydrogen peroxide regularly in low concentration?
Is there an enzyme product which will help keep my reservoirs and plumbing clean?
Does anyone see potential problems I might run into using just RO water .....should the lack of minerals be accounted for or will the liming be sufficient? Thanks for reading.
