So I had a few outdoor plants just die off I'm thinking a number of issues did it but what I'm concerned about is if my indoor plants are suffering from it so I broke open the roots in the outdoor pots and the middle big ball of dry and all around the outside is moist it's been dry for sometime so I'm getting a soil tester today to stick in my indoor soil to see if the same thing is happening if I'm anything I water prolly more than i should so how can I fix this if the water is not getting to the center of my root ball I'm also changing my soil back to promix I was using decent potting soil but I'm not a fan any advice would help

Go Wolverines! Hopefully you're a fan.....if not, Spartans are aright.....🤔

Hey mic......if it were my plant/s, I'd let them dryback to the point where it can be transplanted....

Pull the plant out, gently remove as much soil from the rootball, throw it in some mycoed medium, get a feel for the dry weight of the container/s, water/feed, wait for a proper dryback ( hence getting a feel for the dry weight )

Hope this helps....

Not an expert ✌️

It sounds like up potting the plants gradually may help 🤓

Yeah and I was told that I could also spread out the rootball upon transplant as well I have tried it and it seems like it's working plus the plant seems like it's growing faster in it's final pot this time

pictures of plants,.
the rootball is not an issue, so you shouldn’t be screwing with it,.
