can any 1 tell me what causes plants to have weak steam joints/shoots, where the branch n stalk meet or join. nothing wrong but if accidently snag a branch it seems to break/teare apart at the joint.

Like real woody? Almost like it's drying out during its life cycle. I am trying to figure out what you mean

lower stock where it's happening is a lil woody, seems like it doesn't take much to cause a branch to separate from the stock.

Seamaiden u got me thinking, i normally do have an extra fan running n they have been in a tray where they do't get moved very much at all cuz i been collecting the run off in a bucket to flush it.

btw what is "Si"?......silica?

Of course a fan helps build strong stems but i think it's the genetics

They may be old and worked

u could be on to something, while my buddy did buy the seeds he also lost the mom due to bad roots/neglect. he took cuts n tossed the mom, i'm sure he gave the new mom a lil roller coaster ride of happy n sad in the past.
