I have read just about everything there is to read about it, nothing really tells exactly what causes it, apparently duckfoot seeds are hard to come by so doubt I would of had a bunch of them“
Webbed leaves are a common mutation, and one which various breeders have attempted to stabilise. Such efforts have unfortunately not prevailed to the point where webbed varieties are now commercially available, though. In the past, however, it was possible to source webbed varieties such as Ducksfoot in seed form.”

You asked a question so I pointed you to answers. If you already read just about everything then why are you asking?I have read just about everything there is to read about it, nothing really tells exactly what causes it, apparently duckfoot seeds are hard to come by so doubt I would of had a bunch of them
No worries. It’s 4am and I’m hoping I can sleep soon. Get grumpy when I can’t sleep.Sorry I did write that horribly, the bag seed was just seeds I have collected over the years, so there is no one to ask, i just planted a few of the better looking ones, yes 28 and 22 have turned out like this, I’m nearly positive they all couldn’t be the same strain, thought I may have done something wrong to cause it. Sorry if I come off rude before.
A more direct way of saying what I said. Looks like he hasn’t thought of anything that could be the trigger yet.very interesting that you are having this same mutation on so many from a variety of strains. duckfoot is a genetic mutation(a very rare one) that is recessive in nature, something in your environment is signaling this response.
It’s going to be my guess that flipping them 12/12 at this state of immaturity has something to do with this.
they do smell very citrusy! not so much like liquorice i don't think, although they are very pungent. That looks like a strain I grew that was crossed with hops. It was called Acer 1. Not saying it is but looks the same. Does it smell like licorice and oranges by chance?
What’s crazy is that you have so many. I often see three leaves, but that’s only from the start as the plant matures it will start throwing fives and sevens. Not being allowed to mature before being thrown into flower is still my best guess. Keep us posted!they were flipped into 12/12 very early, so definitely a possibility, but ive never seen this happen even in the worst of growning conditions. i had posted on icmag and wally duck thinks its most likely of the same mutation as duck foot.
i dare say you would be right, duck foot or not, i still find it very interesting. will do! :)What’s crazy is that you have so many.
