So my femminized wedding cake seeds are coming up ! Of the three, one looks like normal growth but the other two look strange. Both in Lush, too hot, I know but too early to transplant.

Did they all come up at about the same time? WC1's leaves don't look like they're expanding, which usually means there is a root problem and the plant isn't drawing enough water up through them. This usually happens because there isn't enough oxygen in the soil. How wet is that soil? The other two could have a similar, but not nearly as bad problem.

My THC-infused brain might be thinking of another soil mix, but I think what I read about Lush was that there is less perlite and it has a higher water holding capacity than Roots' other soil mixes. Do the cups have sufficient drainage holes?

If you have sufficient drain holes, give the cup a light squeeze and see if the soil cracks a little to let some air in.

Just saw this thanks. Yes they all came up the same time. They had the shell stuck on for a long time. The soil is not wet but moist, don’t want to over water. Yes, they have drainage holes. Lush was not amended. Other strains came up with yellowish leaves. Posted it, was told Lush was too hot
I’ll follow your advice
Thanks 👍

Lush probably is too hot for seedlings, but these don't look like they're burnt from it. That may be the problem though.

If you're not overwatered, I'm not sure there's much to be done. Seedlings are pretty tough, except for needing well-aerated roots. I think most will come through, if not all.

Thanks we flushed them yesterday and they’re looking better today. Growing well and the yellow is fading. We will transplant into FFOF when they’re larger
Thanks again

When they're larger, Lush will be just fine. In fact, they could be on "automatic pilot" for 5 or 6 weeks. They'll only need water.
