Gorgeous!
Lets get amongst itAnd just in the mail from Fed Ex.. we got some bags of goodies here. Soil is about to get a boost.![]()
Yes sir .. anxious to pop a bag open. But, these will be for the next little batch of flowers. Tempted to try a compost tea. there's two methods. That I know of, The dunk until the water is muddy colored. Easy. And then the 18 hour brew under an air stone (with sugars). Joshua Steensland made an interesting observation about compost teas on a recent Mr Grow It episode. He feels that 18 hour brews come out too slimy and really only end up on the surface of the soil for that slime. In his views, the water dunk is more efficient as the bacteria can reach the root zone better for lack of the slime build up. I mean, it really threw my mind for a loop thinking about it. Plausible?Lets get amongst it![]()

That may be a question for the better growers on this siteYes sir .. anxious to pop a bag open. But, these will be for the next little batch of flowers. 29x13.5 and the soil depth is only 7.5 inches. Not including the 3 inches for the reservoir underneath. So 10.5 inches total heightHow big are these?
I've definitely never seen lower buds maturing faster than the top, but I can definitely see that's what your plant is doing here.Speaking of the 4x2.. wondering if I'm just just dealing with light issues. I dropped the lights a few days ago and the right side plant had a reaction similar to the left plant. So I raised them back up to as high as they can go today.
Just really funny how the lower buds mature faster than the top ones. I felt like something was off and did the Google thing and seems like some plants do that normally? You guys notice that? Lower buds maturing faster than the top?
It's just this tent that's doing it, I'll have to double check the other one when the lights turn on, but I'm already planning on rearranging the fans so I can lift the light higher.I've definitely never seen lower buds maturing faster than the top, but I can definitely see that's what your plant is doing here.
VERY cool to hear man! You watch a lot of his YouTube videos and you get the impression hes a decent guy. I have watched so many of his Q&A videos whilst doing maintenance on my plants lol. Happy to hear your issue got resolved dude, that's awesome. And buying from Build A Soil for some time, called them out on it. I was not expecting a full refund on the box.Kudos to Build A Soil. Appreciate you big time!
Have you snapped any of those lower branches during flower? On my last grow I would break one every time in and out watering and I had more trichs on the ones a snapped ( not broke off ). It wasn’t as pronounced as what you seeing but there was a significant difference. One grower on this site had a comment he intentionally snaps the stem late in flower. My lower buds in comparison to the upper... (Indoor 4x2 ) Seems like light burn/heat stress? We're still gonna redo the soil in this tent, and hang the lights as high as possible on the next run. Remove/relocate fan placement, yada yada..
