Nice harvest man, like I said before, amazing buds! What kush in particular is next?
Bud rot I face every year, big pots with strains that can produce big buds like Runtz... its bound to happen unless you have complete control over the climate which I dont. Even with climate control if the bud is very big the inside will be moist wether you put a fan or have a dehumidifier so its always riskier to push further into maturity than with other strains.

True that .. so true. The Kush I grew out was the Nebulis Kush cut from 7 East Genetics. They tend to self pollinate and that's what happened on the last run. My buddy planted those seeds and now has more than he needs, knowing it's a bad idea to grow hermed seeds out....fuck it...what can go wrong!?

I think genetics, I've had a few very similar to this one, Skunk#1 was like this almost carbon copy, like it when they flower up and down like that.

Did I understand correctly? Youre gonna use one of those hermy seeds? Are you sure? You only have 1 plant, its different if you have like 4 plants and 1 herms, usually the others wont have many seeds but 1 big plant hermy? Youre playing with fire there

I have a few bags with hermy seeds that I collected over the years. My plan is to go some day to an area that is difficult to access in the forest near my home and try to create a colony, with hermies if the police doesnt notice in a couple of years that should be weed heaven. Of course Im not gonna take care of them or harvest them, the police would catch me 100% and its not worth it for buds full of seeds. Id rather grow legally at home but I wanna do something with those seeds

Get yourself a proper feminized seed or a good cutling, after this kahuna you dont wanna downgrade to buds with seeds and reduced growth on buds due to self polination. It could not happen, but it could happen, and youre relying on only 1 plant.
Once the buds are pollinated they focus more on creating seeds than fattening. And even if they keep fattening a bit, there's seeds inside so its even less bud.

For real hahaha. Things I always look for in mid-late flower: naners and bud rot. Seeds wont poke out of the bud until theyre fully mature so if you missed the naners youre screwed. Sometimes its just a few, but if its a lot you wont catch them all either but it helps. Lazy way of destroying polen is using water and hydrogen peroxide but its never good to spray your buds you gotta make sure they have a fan ponting at them for a few days and even with that who knows if you will get a moldy one...
And for bud rot, the bigges giveaway is the mold that grows on top of it, if you catch it soon maybe you can cut off the rotten part and not have to discard the entire bud. Sneaky too since it starts from the inside of the bud many times.
