Random thoughts today:

Daughter surprised us with a visit, a week long visit. HAppy to see her..but, my tent is in her room we left semi untouched, (minus the grow tent). Wife noticed I was not happy and saw me staring at the tent. The light on in the room, and I just knew they would probably be left on all night during the lights off cycle inside the tent. CRINGE. 😩 I couldn't tell my daughter not to use her own room... had the wife do it. πŸ˜‚πŸ˜πŸ˜Ž

To drop or not to drop... Todds Tahoe OG x Purest Indica strain... or,, Elev8 Gelato 33 ??? one of these two is next up!
Man i know that one....my tent is in the only spare bedroom and my daughter asks me if i'm growing prior to coming to visit LOL. I just set my timer off/on times to accomidate visitors damnit!🀣 Hey man i love the Gelato strains but heck do 1 of each LOL

Oh man.. yes, worth repeating, thanks for the heads up. Same active ingredient in Mosquito Bits, that will have to do till we go through what I have available. I mostly rely on the microbes that come when top feeding with compost. Who knows whats in there. Not Bacillus Thuringiensis, I forgot about the Shark stuff but have a bag of Mosquito Bits on hand already. Just works. 1/4 cup to a gallon of water is all that is needed.

It's not a "problem" per se, it's just known to happen with healthy wet soil conditions. I mean if you don't know how to deal with it it can be a problem. You'd have gnats everywhere. The advantages growing in soil outweigh the minor inconvenience is my angle.

Glad to read this... I'm super stoked about it. I was gonna do an all Elev8 Gelato 33 grow but just couple days ago saw that Trustfall batch that I got in the summer, a pack of the Gelato 33 x Okie was in there! Elev8 doesn't sell the Gelato 33 anymore, so feeling kinda "different" about growing these out. I really hope this one seed pops. With these old seeds, you never know. I have 9 others to go through if this one doesn't. Hey thanks buddy, glad to see ya.

PS.. I added the Shark stuff to my Amazon list. Thanks! πŸ™ƒ

Where did you get that list? Google AI also says that it doesnt have it now that I searched for it. Thats kinda different from the list of the grow I buy it from and I think its the same stuff, the bottle looks the same. Im gonna do some digging and if it doesnt have bacillus thuringiensis Im gonna have a serious talk with that dude. In any case, if you email them, they will give a list, I just didnt do it because most grows here include it in the list but it wouldnt be the first time that something is fucked, for example they still have the old formula for Iguana Juice, which I told them to change and they didnt. Thinking about mentioning taking some legal action if thats the case because now I dont know if I can trust them and I need to know 100% whats in everything I use.
In any case there should be other brands that have it.
Ive also been using the trio from AN just ran out of them, maybe thats where my thuringiensis came from as its also listed in piranha or tarantula, one of the two,

This is the list that appears in several spanish grows, might be that the formula is different but now Im gonna e-mail the company to make sure. Ill keep you tuned. AN has it in one of their liquids and if you keep it in the fridge lasts for long but it doesnt have the same lifespan of powdered micros.

I see in their official webpage they dont have it listed either but its the US webpage so they can keep ingredients secret if they want to, different than the EU. Ive already sent the e-mail asking if the european version is different or all the spanish grows that have this list are bullshitting or just copied it from each other in which case still someone is bullshitting. Ill let you know as soon as I get a response.
EDIT: Honestly if it doesnt have it Im gonna be pretty pissed, is one of the reasons I was willing to pay the extra price compared to other blends. Might go back to piranha and tarantula from AN if thats the case, for the dosage you need its very cheap but them being in liquid form is what made me prefeer great white.

I was just gonna say.. some company's don't list full ingredients for lawful reasons here in that states. (Rooted Leaf is one of them) It could very well be in there, I'm still gonna grab some. Might just do it now just to have (ordering as I write this πŸ™‚ ), appreciate ya, thank you. πŸ’―πŸ‘Š I believe its in there.

And... ORDERED ! I grabbed a sample size to try out. thanks buddy.

I've even tossed Guinee pig poo in mixed with hay from the cage occasionally. Thats probly gonna bite me in the ass some day. I'm thinking carbon from the hay mixed with urine from the poo. They eat Timothy hay, seeds, brussels sprouts and carrots and occasionally I give them a cob of corn. They are basically earless bunnies.
Hay and straw suck nitrogen from the dirt then a few months after start relesing it soo its a bad idea to use it

Great point, and that actually sounds like a great point to use it for excess nitrogen in the soil. Cover crop is used in organic grows to encourage root growth (feeder roots) closer to the surface where the top dressing is laid. Mycrorhyzae fungus doesn't thrive in light, so by covering the top soil it can thrive (in darkness) and help break down Phosphorous for plant use. That's why them Earth Boxes come with plastic covers. If you peel back that cover you will eventually see a large colony of mycorrhizae growing and thriving. We're trying to accomplish the same thing with the straw. The other plus with the straw cover is they add Protozoa to the soil. Dormancy (Cyst formation): When conditions are dry, protozoa living on the grass or straw form protective, dormant cysts to survive, similar to spores. Activation: When the straw is rehydrated with water (pond, spring, or tap water), these cysts are exposed to a moist environment. Protozoa are vital for soil health as they are crucial drivers of nutrient cycling, helping to release plant-available nutrients like nitrogen and phosphorus by feeding on bacteria. They also regulate microbial populations, prevent bacteria from overpopulating, and aid in the decomposition of organic matter In short the protozoa consume the beneficial bacteria in the soil and they are the ones that release the plant available nutrients.

I use the straw mostly in the flowering stage, when more phosphorus use and less nitrogen are in play.

Looking chunky and pretty! You should make a video with the lights off and the camera lantern on so we can see those beatiful trichomes, Im pretty sure theres plenty! But with the lights on we cannot see them.
I think these will be frosty, more than what I usually put out. Had to up the filter volume. (turn up the fan a little and crack the window open) the DANK is strong with this one. It passed the wife test... " Why does it smell like weed in here!!" πŸ˜‚

Dyam.. That Bruce Banner #3 is a huge hit around here. "Neighbors" given it two thumbs up. Gonna have to run that again in the summer.

We're on to plan B.. dropped another Trustfall Gelato 33 x Okie. The Elev8 beans are dead in water.. πŸ˜’ maybe a good thing after all. Because Trustfall beans are robust snap crackle and pop. 😁

Hey week4bytch,
I just popped a BB 3 looking to start in hydro. Any suggestions on this one?
Anything OG are cal mag whores ..πŸ˜‚, but I don't have any experience with hydro grows unfortunately. Just dirt here on this side. I think with hydro the key is to keep the water as fresh as you can and at a constant pH the entire grow. But as far as the plant itself, it's a slow vegger (at least mine was) but she comes to life after the flip. So don't trip on her starting out. Let it ride for at least 9 weeks after the flip. Good luck. You got this.
