According to canaKan these should have popped by today .. marketing BS? They are super hard beans. Them small ones (beans) usually take weeks to pop. Hoody Hoo. πŸ™„

My cuts are looking great from Monday. Might grow these out instead of the 2nd pheno of Gelato 33& Okie. If the mother of the cuts makes it will include it in the mix of things. She might actually make it. Left it outside overnight and cold air didn't put her out. Got some color back too ..lol, shit I don't know.

you should soak them till they sink first then go to the lower level after they all have sank. I'm using my cannakan constantly still. No marketing BS. If the seeds are healthy and viable they take less then three days to do. For seeds that are small they take longer, I just ran a fruity pebble og see through mine that I chose because it was the smallest one out of the batch I have, and I prefer a challenge before the ones I know are guaranteed to germ. Give the cannakan a second go or the one you have that's similar to it. The cannakan just won ica in vegas not long ago and is used by some of the top growers across the world. Also update on the real cannakan. They just hit customs and are being processed and cleared and sent to shipping partners in the u.s. and e.u. I just had a message from Mo one of the two owners of cannakan. (I am not a marketing agent lol) I just believe in this product and recommend it to anyone that deals with seeds regularly. ( A higher success rate with use of cannakan or similar products is to run a heat mat as well as using distilled water and mixing it with hydrogen peroxide till you have a 1% hydrogen peroxide solution. There are also companies that sell germination solutions with more goodies that help health of seed germ.)
And your grows are looking good πŸ‘πŸΌ

THey are the smaller seeds I dropped in there with a reputation of not popping too. Cali Connection. Thought I'd try an acid test. 🀣 I might grab the official CannaKan. Thanks for the heads up.

Yeah, smaller seeds are the ones that are very more time sensitive seeds usually and go bad quickly or just take for ever for anything to happen. I put in a runtz seed I got from zamnesia last night at 6 and the seeds already popped and starting to sprout within 12 hours. Key thing to my success rate is a hydrogen peroxide soak and using distilled water and controlling the temperature as well as the recirculating effect the cannakan has.

We started Operation Clean Up in the garage and ended up making a bigger mess today. Let's just say we used the shop vac big time today. The freakn cement bags were heavy as fuck. Had 9 of them to take to the dump to make some room. Might have to toss a lot of stuff away. Priority tent!!
Digging the included support rods on the Vivosun 5x5. Nice touch. Half way there. Hopefully we can have everything set up and going tomorrow.

And ... No charcoal filter... DuH !! Been awhile since we played with garage grows. Have plenty of time. Waiting for the one cut to root and hoping... hoping big time for the Grandpa's Cookies to pop. Doubt the Larry's OG will but then again I doubted the Elev8 Gelato 33 wouldn't and out of left field comes some sprouts lol. Variety719 Gelato 33 & Okie are freakn LOUD fellows... They have the DANK at just a few weeks into veg....MY GOODNESS. I have them outside in the backyard for the meantime. They're just not 100% (even with the dankness) and transplanting a gallon into a earthbox just seems like I'll just make a freakn mess. Talking about these earthboxes ... First thing my wife says or mentions "you're not using your big pots. Won't your plants come out small"? 🀣🀣🀣 She's knows me well. I assured her that they say these pots are like batteries and do magic so we'll see... Right guys? 🫠
So just waiting to get my cut and seed into party cups before transplanting into the earthboxes. I like the clean look... As tempting as it is to cram pots in here .. we'll try just the earthboxes for now. Maybe ..lol. It's too tempting not to add another pot!!

Buckwheat is a fantastic cover crop for cannabis gardens, acting as a fast-growing weed suppressor, soil improver (especially for phosphorus), and pollinator attractor, but needs management to prevent it from becoming a weed itself by terminating before it seeds, often by mowing or tilling around flowering time, to benefit your cannabis grow without competition.
Benefits for Cannabis Growers:
Weed Suppression: Grows quickly, shading out weeds, especially in summer.
Soil Health: Scavenges phosphorus and calcium, making them available to cannabis, and builds organic matter.
Beneficials: Flowers attract predatory wasps, ladybugs, and hoverflies that eat cannabis pests.
Erosion Control: Protects bare soil from rain and wind.
Quick Turnaround: A fast-growing, short-season crop (45-60 days) for quick rotations before planting cannabis.
When I was little, we had a pond for cows to drink from. We would float bales of barley to keep the algae out.

Gelato 33xOkie really liking the humidity up at 70%. At 45-50% they were not happy. Soon as we raised the humidity they got nice color and some growth going.

We also planted the last cut (Elev8) into soil yesterday. Little early but from what I gathered if we keep the humidity up we should be alright.
