I just wanted to extend my best wishes to the Four Mile Fire victims. I've lived through a number of recent Colorado fires including Hayman, Black Mountain and Snaking Fires, and they suck.

You are completely helpless, and as a grower your entire existence is on the line. You might have homeowners insurance, but where do you grow while you are waiting for your home to be rebuilt?

So, my heart and hopes go out to all my fellow growers who might reside in this area. Keep your spirits up and hang in there!

My Sister is making hundreds of clones atm as we sit here for those who lost their grow, she has some sick dank genetics.
I can put those who truly lost their grow in this fire in touch with her.

Those 8 people I believe stayed home to hold the fort down, hose down the roof over and over, pile soil & mulch around your property. I wish those people luck and hope they made it. I heard 1 house didn't burn in the middle of the blaze, because the house was recently build on a fresh clearing, no trees or shrubs for over 100 yards around the house.

The fire started with an RV that drove into a propane tank that exploded. It happened in a over-grown part of Four Mile canyon, so trees instantly ignited from the propane explosion. Other propane tanks went off in the area from the blaze, and winds were at 40-45 mph that day, so it go completely out of hand before anyone knew what happened.

I've heard from speaking to a few of the locals that when the fires in the hills get this out of control this time of year, they usually stay around, even if sporadic, until the first snow fall.

Let's hope for an early winter then! My plants wouldn't mine that, either!

Leaves are tuning colors even lower than that, went down the back side 72 and all along for the last 4 miles before 93 they are all rusty now, thats about 6800. Been telling the wife first snow is Halloween if not sooner. Car had thick frost on it 2 days ago, and mornings/nights are real friggin cold right now.
