Ya I hate these cheap ass lights... I knew never to get them.... but feel it should be illegal to sell to new growers who don't know better....

I always say your lights are the most important aspect to growing and never want to skimp on that aspect...
+1 The lights really are that most important single item needed for growing. After that, it's hard to say what would be a clear second place on the list.

Finding the right nutrient regiment that works for YOUR OWN growing style... I am an acid user of promix or botannicare mp4 soils and bottle nutes...

I use the expensive advanced nutrient line base plus all npk boosters plus calmag plus Si(rhinoskin)

That being said nutrient replenishment is a little pricey for me... I buy in 1 gallon sizes mostly... then I get a few cycles before needing more again

Best investment was my 5 dollar walmart grow light for just seedlings and 50 dollar food delivery bag🤣🤣🤣

Also 50 dollar uses truck bed liner was a great purchase!!!!

A little off topic but helping with the saving of the bucks!!!

That, and the soil itself, is one of my candidates for second place on the list after lights. It's not so much the cost, though. For me, it has been learning how to make a good mixture with the right nutrients and with the the best porosity. That, as you say, depends so much on growing style.

hey RGWD0202! This is a great question to ask! For me, Being newer to the indoor scene it helps weed out some of the unnecessary expenditures and wasting of time! Ill be fallowing this thread! Thanks for posting!

The one thing I have for you at this point in time is just get the red solo cups for starting lol. my family and I do our yearly veggie gardens and have a lot of little pots and what not lying around. I tried using those and really didn’t like it. I think the solo cups give you a longer growing time in the seedling stage without out growing the container. this is my theory : ) anyone else feel free to chime in or correct me to why you all use red solo cups!? Haha
That actually makes me think of mine, I bought a germinating dome, won’t be using that again and actually just threw it in the trash last week. Solo cups for me as well!

For one the Photone app, (on apple you pay)
Certain fox farm nutes wholly mackerel
Flowers kiss ect.
Honeywell fans. They just don’t last ever.
Small dehumidifiers for tents.
One of my small fan just stopped working today. Not sure what causes it but guessing dirt and moisture creating gunk to build up on the motor. But they really don’t last very long. I had another one go out in 2 weeks and it was the more expensive of the fans I had in there.

Yeah man that sucks. It’s a bitch but taking inline fans, circulating fans apart is something I try to do at least 1 time a year. Lots of alcohol staying in cracks and crevices to get some of that crap out of the pesky spots, and making sure the stater and coil are clean….

Facts.
The bitterness of poor quality remains long after the pain of high price is forgotten…..👊🏻🤡
Buy once, cry once : )

never bought some but i think co² bag are a real waste in a open system
Whoa yeah, definitely, I’ve seen a TON of folks drop loot on those. They just don’t work enough for cannabis. Hanging co2 emission bags are a scam. Agreed again.
