the sunday update..
pink starburst plants have finished 3 weeks flowering so the start of week 4. everything is going good!

the clones are also all doing good and have just been transplanted..

started making some hash and oil for a friend., though i will say this was one of the hardest strains to work with regarding extracting resin etc., anyhoo almost done..
here’s a piece of grade A..

cooking some oil right now.. than off to bed!

the sunday update.,
pink starburst plants are at 5 weeks flowering today..

started the next indoor grow..
Future 1 & Imperium X seeds..
so i put seeds in a glass of RO/H2O2 mix of 7-8% strength for 9 hrs..
got tiny shot glass solo cups filled with promix hp with a layer of peat for the seed than covered over with more peat and promix..
gave a couple small spoonfuls of the mix to water.,
put on seedling heating mat to come on with lights on and off with lights off.,

the clones in the above photo are on track and doing fine..

a friend brought over a pan brownies made with black hash, think i ate too much earlier today, haha..

put the used Don biscotti sifted weed into the freezer to make some hash oil with later on.,

been smoking all the grades now and even though they don’t look good and have too much contaminate other than the best grade they actually are good and smoke just fine.., hopefully next time i can take my time and make something more to show off..

came home from work to see the top right one is already starting to poke through.. put into mini solo cups 9:30-10:00 pm sunday night.. hope all are up in 4 days..

went in to check on clones and to see if anything new with the seeds and yep all 4 are breaking ground, took out of the package on sunday and up already and no hands ever touched them..

filtered the iso mix so now it’s ready for cooking.. a little green for a 1min 30 sec shake but material was pretty broken down from sifting..

i have to say this best grade of don biscotti hash is blowing me away! thai oil is still around..

getting ready to make some bubble hash from the pink starburst trimmings, small buds, etc this weekend..

Love the updates GNick55. I'll have to get some recommendations for sift screens from you, I've given up on bubble, it's just a lot easier to reuse the material for oil after a dry sift. But there is that cleaning aspect with dry sift too that I don't know a lot about, I'll have to dig back through your thread to where you explained that process.
I think we're much the same in our smoking preferences.

i’ve discovered a slightly different technique with using the dvd/parchment paper..

found it watching a video and now i can’t find that video? wonder what other good tips i could pick up..
i like dry sifting better, especially because i make oil all the time too,
can’t smoke a joint with out it, even bought a vape pen to smoke it.
with dry sifting you don’t have to work as much for the hash, depending on the situation, and nothing will go to waste with extracting the rest with isopropyl for hash or weed oil..
your probably “beating up” the weed with the bubble washer instead of letting the freezing cold water and the motion of the wash to remove the heads.. possibly with that and your wash times from the first and so on? maybe your material?
dryer material needs to let soak for like 30min more fresh not so long before starting..
oh well email or post anytime and hopefully i can help out some how..

But I love what falls through the trim bin screen. Smoking this little wad right now as I de-stem my wedding crasher crop. These heads are instant melt.

look you love the world of marijuana and hash so just buy the screens, i only got two and i keep thinking of buying one more larger size but still haven’t but i need to replace one of mine soon so i’ll look into it them, getting a pollen press next very soon..
i’d say buy 3 screens large ones too like 2ft by 3 ft, princess auto has steel tables exact same size to work on and to collect the fine resin on, this stuff i never clean and press into a brick moroccan style.. i clean the one on the 70 screen so you end up with two piles obviously one is close to pure and the other is still pressable and smokable most times.. all used weed into freezer for oil, though when making oil from this used weed make sure it and the iso are freezing and only do a 60-90 second shake.. here is some i just made from the don biscotti sifted weed, little dark for a 90 second shake.. anyhoo.. anytime brother..,
i’ve got an issue with my clones so i have to ask the farm for advice, gonna post a new thread to get some opinions..

some sad news ahead..
plants are 6 weeks flowering today and coming along nicely..

took around 160-180 gms of trim and bud bits of pink starburst and bubbled wash it.. did quit well after 8 washes! and probably could of done one more.. it’s a great sign for me as a good strain for dry sifting the buds later on..

in the above pic i took the 160 and put on top of fridge once dry it’ll go into the pile for frankenoil later on..
120,73,25 are all looking sweet for hashish.. still have to grate and dry before pressing..
the sad news.. the 3 gelato clones from a buddy’s friend must of came with mite eggs as the clones were infected bad once i noticed, the future 1 and imperium x seeds were in with them for four days, it broke my heart as they were starting to look not well also, so pretty quickly everything into the garbage bag sealed put outside, vacuumed everything in that room everywhere, made 10% strength h2o2 mix and soaked everything in the room, washed what i could under the hot shower, isopropyl everything in the room and let dry than washed the floors and have washed the floors again with more cleaning a couple days later.. and on top of that i have nothing that im excited about to start growing except one imperium x seed..
have a couple autos (never have, don’t want too), a cbd? seed (why?), and 2 female wild thailand.. so maybe in a few days that be my next grow minus the autos..

ok well with me my intention was to lightly sift while using the rest for oil so 2 screens is sufficient, now i want to get a bit more out of it so i’ll probably buy one more larger work screen, having 3 screens..
if you want only to get resin for hashish and not planning to use the used material for anything than get all 4..
remember everything you do with sifting has to be cold, so i sift what i can during the winter months and bubble wash more in the warmer months..
my sifting room when i just sifted a week or so ago was 39 degrees, 50% humidity, perfect but
