Just find a place in nature somewhere, and throw non stableized regular seed of a couple varieties there, and let it pollen chuck. Come back in fall, carefully discard the failures, and shake the seed of the best performers everywhere you can. Within 150 years youll have a drug strain land race tailored to your area, and your area alone lmao.

That's actually how these wonky inbred Jack x Big bud seeds ended up being grown by me. An old deadhead thats been letting his plants pollen chuck in the backwoods of the Ozarks for the last 30 some odd years. I reckon hes probably only 50 more seasons from homogeneity looking at the phenos, and will have somehow managed to turn Jack herer and big bud into a mostly indica dominant lineage by the looks of it at year 30-something.

Whats another 80-150 years of growing cannabis gonna hurt?


cool thing though, as long as it doesnt get developed, that old deadhead's mountain patch is gonna last long after he kicks the bucket. It stopped needing any human guidance about 10 years ago according to his claims. Im expecting the oj x BB to be supremely mold and rot resistant too.

They are the result of the original jack, and big bud lineages pollen chucked and half way on the route to becoming an ozark mountain landrace 🤣 🙃 💚

i had to buy a new reel and rod as my old old ones kept fucking up, and i’m still using mostly lures from 40-50 yrs ago, got one snagged across the pond in the pitch black night so i had to walk around it sometimes having to walk in pond to get around trees and my line getting caught in the trees a bunch of times, almost falling, getting caught up in the brush, spiderwebs, almost losing it a couple times, than finally after a good hour or so i got my lure,. i have another old lure snagged in the pond though i cut the line and tied it off so i can go get it later,..

Ya prob already know, but Just in case not, that's not a white walnut by your Kumaoni. That's a poison sumac lol. If you are allergic to poison ivy, you dont wanna brush against that too often or stress it out too much, itll start giving you poison ivy all of a sudden here in like a month lmao. If you pull them up, more will grow from the roots too lol. I hate those things.

They even smell like white walnuts when you break them, but eventually theyll let out a white clustered flower when mature, and seeds that almost look like maple helicopters instead of walnuts. Theres a red and gold flowered poison sumac as well.

thanks yes i’ve been lazy and normally i would have the fence and camo off and than i would take my machete and clear away,.
i actually say that to myself when im there that i need to come and do some clearing away haha, soon.. but thanks i forget all the time about poison ivy etc and its everywhere around here, even this new plant or to me and not nettle is one that stings and the stinging is intense for up to an hour,. i’m usually dressed for it just because of ticks and other creepy crawlers,..

knife is def best for sumacs, if ya pull em by root, like 3 will grow to replace it, 3 very angry, very rashy sumacs very rich in "you better not touch me again" xD

They use some kind of rhyzome like runners right under the soil surface, and they can pop out of anywhere in the fiber roots near that runner. If you cut a big one down, like 100 will immediately start to grow from it's root system.

i hate sumacs, hate em hate em hate em. If you sometimes end up with posion ivy rashes and dont know where it came from, theres prob sumac around.

if you make a big mature flowering one angry enough, and stress it bad, its like they can even aerosolize the urushiol or something (active compound in poison ivy and sumac)

Ive broken out just from being close to angry flowering ones for extended periods that i had cut down seasons prior. When angry, they are a lot more potent then poison ivy lol. Ivy gives me a few bumps here and there, potent sumac can make me look like frankenstein 🤣 ive had it in my mouth, on my unmentionables, eyelids. (I brush cut a huge patch once thinking it was white walnut saplings, they smell almost identical, that time i had it on like 90% of my body, even made bleeding blisters. A large sumac tree was cut down and the roots were left, so the replacement was a patch of very angry root volunteers)
