Buddy sent pic of his mama plant. Any clues what’s goin on?

Some details would help a lot. What is the medium, light source, strain, type of grow... all of these are important.

He is dwc, gh nutes, sour berry blue. ( hybrid.alpha bluex sour gelly). Viperspectra led. He uses RO water. I’m not sure if he is using cal mag product. I haven’t ran gh before. I thought maybe a calcium def.

Looks like the potential of a root zone Ph issue and / or slight bug problem.

Do you Ph the water before adding, if so, at what level? Do you measure the Ph of the run-off too?

Likely could use some defoliation to increase the air flow through the middle.

I don’t think he phs the water. He starts off with RO. That’s mixes in nutes. But I can check his ph. I can ask about if he can see bugs with a loupe, but I’m pretty sure he doesn’t have bugs. Thanks for the tips my friend. Very helpful stuff. Anyone else suggestions?
