Hi guys,

Just a general question today. What are good characteristics in plants with respect to the different common growing methods? Add methods to the thread if you feel so inclined. For example:

1. Standard/Large indoor growing.
2. Sog indoor growing.
3. Scrog indoor growing.
4. Topping (maybe not a 'method', but a 'technique')
5. LST (maybe not a 'method', but a 'technique')

Traits I'm thinking of would be:

a. Flexible.
b. Strong branching.
c. Large main cola.
d. Weak branching.

For example, my uneducated guesses would be that flexible is good for scrog, as is strong branching, but a large main cola with weak branching is better for sog.

Some plants are specifically described as bad for topping, like Serious's Chronic. I guess that plant really wants a large main cola. Maybe sativa dominance, versus indica dominance lends itself better to certain growing methods?

Just hoping to plan my future plants with my future growing methods (sog and scrog versus standard).

Thanks!
