What are the Main-Strains for a private Collection

Hi there,
I am an old Ganjamaniac from Germany:oldman:. And I wanna accomplish my own private seedbank/collection. This collection must contain all the different main-types of Ganja: Indica and his turn(high), Sativa and his turn, Haze and his turn, and a good hybrid. I wanna have all this different types of Ganja to have a good smoke for every situation. And perhaps I wanna make my own crosses to be a little bit creative.

So what are the "Must-Have-Strains" for a becomming cropper and breeder (just private not commercial).

PS: What is the best Lemon-Strain?

Check the "Top 3 strains you are searching for" (er somethin like dat) thread and you will see that such an answer will vary from smoker to smoker and generally (IMO) depends on their exposure to the plant/what they tend to migrate to.

But that thread definitely captures some great names....and..if you have the reach....is a great resource to see what other smokers here view as the "cream of the crop".

Greenhouse super lemon haze will cover your sativa and lemon.
There are some nice kushes that will give you a lemon smell/taste. I got a really nice lemon pheno from some white fire seeds I popped a few years back.
There are a million hybrids. You should browse the thcbay here and see what looks good to you.

We have friends from germany coming to visit for dinner today and carlheinz favorite smoke when he comes is the masterkush.I do have some Girlscoutcookie buds squirreled away for him to try too this time.I think its all personal preference like sky says though.

White Widow, Northern Lights, Kush and possibly a landrace strain would be a good start.
Northern Lights is the father of a lot of famous hybrid strains. White Widow won several awards since it was introduced in the 90s. Kush is one of the best strains you can get from Asia. Add a landrace strain and you got pretty much a solid line up to make your own seeds. IMO of course.

For the staivas and landraces:
Ace seeds / Underground Seeds Collective / Tropical Seeds

For Top Notch ORIGINAL OG's:
Archives Seeds.

For the CANDIEST OG's:
Alien Genetics.

For strong outdoor genetics:
Ganja Rebel Seeds.

For killer unique Hybrids:
OG raskal Seeds, Devine Genetics, Bodhi Seeds, Top Dawg, Piscies etc...

Then You will probably need a few killer clones, such as Sour Diesel riri cut or ECSD or any good cut, SFV or Tahoe OG are quiet easier to score than a BTY OG for example. The Amnesia Hy-pro cut is a good one to have, and not that hard to score. Having a strong quality seed base with a few elite clones, and voila, You are pretty much set to play with good genetics and make your own exclusive elite smoke.

Here's a few good lemon strain:

Super Lemon Haze
OG Kush
Moby Dick
Mazar I Sharif
Alien Dawg
