I donβt see any mites in the pictures, but the upper side leaf pic looks like mite damage, which looks uniform on the leaf. Thrip damage is more localized (as theyβre much bigger and eat in one area for awhile.) When the thrip molts it leaves behind a white shell that you can see with your naked eye. Might be whatβs shown in the one pic, but hard to tell. Use a loupe and youβll know.
Personally I think a 50/50 blend of ISO is overkill with 1 or 2 TBSP per gallon doing the job. (Donβt used alcohol in flower since it will dissolve the trichomes.)
Iβve only dealt with the 2-spotted mites and use this recipe in veg.
2 TBSP (soybean) oil
1 TBSP Castile soap (Dr Woods peppermint/tea tree soup)
1 TBSP ISO (.5oz) - ~0.5-1 oz./gallon
2 TBSP Hydrogen peroxide (1oz)
1 Tsp silica
Once flowering Iβll drop the oil and the low concentration of ISO shouldnβt be a issue in early flower.
The H2O2 alone will kill mites on contact, but not the eggs. So if youβre late in flowering you can just spray with it and it will knock them back considerably. I grow outside and thereβs mites all over the place, so itβs not like youβre going to eradicate them and be done. The next day a bird is going to fly in with more mites.
