Now before I get into this I want to keep this thread civil, no racist comments, im a huge basketball fan and want to know yalls opinion on this Don Sterling thing. Do you guys think he should be banned from the league? I heard the convo and I really do feel he is maybe a tad bit racist but more so jealous that his GF is hanging around these Black NBA Stars (who he knows his gf is more physically attracted to then his old ass). I Also really feel like that man was setup from the jump, especially how right after she begins recording she says some bs like "well I wish I could change the color of my skin". *poor me*. Both parties were wrong but I hope that golddigger realizes in CA personal wiretaps are illegal, and she will be charged. On an upnote hopefully theyll forfeit game 5 an let the warriors get that win haha.

Where I was raised Racism is still very prevalent, not as obvious as it once was but certainly still there. So stuff like this really doesn't stand out to me. What stood out the most was Obama's need to give his 2 cents and this has been his problem sense day one in office. He sticks his nose into shit that has zero to do with government, then uses his power to get on TV and rant about it.

Don will be scarred big time for this one because, let's face it, the media chew him up and spit him out.

That tape makes him sound like a straight half wit! Not the racist part , the whole thing. How can a guy who sounds that stupid be able to hang onto enough money to own an NBA franchise? I instantly hated both of them. My understanding is that she is being sued by his company for embezzling 1.8 million $'s and he is looking at being forced out of the NBA, so win win for the general public!

If you listen to some of the players that know him he has been a racist and an asshole for a long time.good luck signing any decent free agents in the future, dude should sell the team imo.

Yea the dude is an idiot no doubt, any man in his position with half a brain would be very cautious about what he says, even if hes thinking it. Hes stupid as they come falling into her trap, and even dumber for hating a race that makes him wealthy. Damn tho mayo, thats the motive behind this whole thing for sure. I thought it was hilarious when he told her to go fuck magic johnson for all he cares, that fool better go get tested, she just might of haha.

I personally think it should be swept under the rug I have never seen the media point out the black dude who made racist remarks against whites or mexican's. This is coming from a american-mexican so I have no emotional ties to this situation and I feel no one should the guy is in his 80's and grew up a rich kid through segregation.Is it correct of course not but he will die alone soon enough.

If I was the owner of the clippers I'd be pissed she was hanging out with a laker. I bet his saggy balled old cronies gave him more shit about that than the fact he's black. I find it odd that he didn't drop an N bomb or 2 during that convo.

No matter what, the damage is done. Racism or not the guy needs to sell the team. You can say cracker or pattie all you want but if you use any term related to blacks you are a done deal. You can't say anything about anyone in todays world, just ask Romney. Funny though how some use any excuse to get on camera. Jessie Jackson comes to mind. My .02
