Gotta love some Tom Petty! :rock

Im not a huge fan of Kid Rock, but have heard a few folks say the new album was pretty good... I just dont think I could listen to it after I heard the one song on the radio here he samples Lynyrd Skynyrd's "Sweet Home Alabama" and Warren Zevon's "Werewolves of London" in the same damn song. Strangely enough there were a few tunes on his first CD that were decent enough.

Here's what Im rockin out too right this second....

Queens of the Stone Age - "Make it Wit Chu"

Its just a great all around tune... bluesy with chunky guitar and buzzsaw distortion at some times, but still so smooth and chill. As the Josh (lead singer for QoTSA) says, its a song about chillin and fuckin... whats not to love:D

Heres one more song/video for you guys...

Something very cool I found on youtube not too long ago... Its Pantera LIVE with Jason Newstead (Metallica) on Bass. Interstingly enough, Phil and Dimebag switch places with Phil rippin up an axe pretty damn good, and DIME pelting out some pretty killer vocals....

So here it is... Pantera w/ Jason Newsteas covering "Whiplash" by Metallica!!! It doenst get much better than this!
