One of my all time GD faves....
Was a wonderful experience and a blessing to have grown up with the Band beyond description.
Words really cannot describe what a long strange and wonderful trip it has been.
So many great shows and even the off nights were well worth attending.
The Winterland scene, Golden Gate free shows, yelling out my friends phones number and name during a quite moment in the tapers section, his mother still gets phone calls, just some thing about being at those shows back then where everybody really got along, never any hassles we were all in it together and had a blast.
It was like the Greateful dead were in my back pocket.
The day Jerry died I was fishing on Dillon Res. and found a baseball hat with the steal Your face patch on it hour later heard the news....
You had to see it to believe it..
Lots things have changerd since then, but...
The music in my heart never stops...
