Coots mix for the win for living soil. I'm in the same soil for 7 years some of it older.

I'm likely in the 1.4gpw and like others have mentioned its all about genetics. Some do better yield wise than others and some of the lesser yielding plants are better weed. It's all personal preference.

One of my friends actually requested not as strong weed this time. I've always been chasing the stronger cultivars but there's something in the landrace strains with less thc that people really prefer. Its good to see people actually asking for specific affects and its not always the most potent weed being the best "for them".

My last landrace I grew another friend said "I took 2 puffs and cleaned the whole house" lol

Thats how I feel about the Green Crack I just grew. easiest plant to grow, not a big yieldwr. Not the frostiest either, but like you said 2 to 3 hits and i HAVE TO BE doing something. not major body high but my mind is ready to go go go. we are sp3cifically trying to grow strictly medical down the road and that will ental some high cbd plants, low thc, which we are already groqing but damn if the medical benefits arent rights on point

10 Colombian Miracle plants, 2 weeks seedling phase from seed, 4 weeks Veg phase, 9 weeks Flower, started in 0.5 gal containers and transplanted into 3 gal Rain Science bags filled with 50/50 Coast of Maine Stonington Blend/Sunshine Advanced Growers Mix #4 under three HLG 350Rs for a total of 990 Watts fed with Advanced Nutrients organic line plus MYKOS at transplant. 1,197 grams per 990 Watts is 1.21 g/W, 2.67 lbs/1000W light. Definitely setting up a trellis for the next run.

The other side of the room I had four plants in 10 gal Rain Science bags under two of the HLG 350Rs for 660 Watts of light. Three Flintstones plants did 450 grams and the one M.A.C. plant did 227 grams for a total of 677. 677 grams for 660 Watts of light is 1.02 g/W and a total of 1.51 lbs which is 2.29 lbs per 1000 Watts light.

Normally a full tent gets me 2gpw. I run in a 2x4 flowering tent. Here's the kicker though, I grow three different main plants at different stages of flower and I have 5-6 small cups in the gaps as filler so I don't know how the staggering actually affects yields and if I'd lose yield by doing the all at once.

The main plants give 4-6oz depending on strain and each cup puts out 25-35g. So I average 20oz per full tent, but I actually harvest every three weeks and pull about 6-8 oz with my perpetual harvest - 2 - 2x2x4 and one 2x4x5.

The most I've "officially" harvested from a full tent all at once was 22oz from a SOG with 1gal pots. Too much work tending all those plants so I won't do it again. So my best was a little over 2gpw.

Edit Grow Details: 3 3.5 gal coco hempy buckets, 5-6 small 32oz cotainers (h202 or paint mix cups) coco hempy style. Feed 1 part MegaCrop - 700EC for veg, 900flower; .5ml/gal CaliMagic, 2g of Sweet Candy 2x a week for flowering plants, SP3000 for flower. mother/sapling/early veg 2x2 - bloomspec sl1000 / 2x2 veg/early flower sl1000.

This might be an old thread but I wanted to step in as a 2 gpw grower and say that it's absolutely possible. I have seen 3lbs per light using 4 plants and Fluence 630 watt LED's. Thats 12 ounces per plant in 16 sqft of canopy. Fully sealed room with co2 and excellent environmental control. Advanced Nutrients fed through blumat drip systems. It's completely possible. Takes a lot of work in veg and good timing on every.
