Yeah your outdoor buds look like they’re grown indoors in some of the pictures you post. I bet that altitude you’re at has a lot of effect on your buds, higher elevation equals higher ultraviolet light, right?
i should also give a disclaimer here. Ive had a pretty good first season here. Its been like 80 and sunny since the end of july. Its rained like 3 times, and was brief heavy rains, the kind that actually help wash your buds. Its been so nice i keep turning my AC off, and my indoor flowers have actually had worse flower weather then my outdoor girls. Knock on wood, so far, my season has been as perfect as is really possible for cannabis. Weather wise anyway.
The sativas i have tend to bud like that outdoors, they just do better outside. Been saying since spring those plants produce indoor quality flower outside because its a ture statement lol.
The other plants i have out there though, ive just gotten lucky with the weather. A lot of my flowers would not look this good with a normal tennessee mountain summer/fall. Some plants would probably have already been cut down. those columbian hybrids were just my shoe-in for a decent fall harvest. I entered the season expecting (still kinda do) to lose half my flowers. I live in a deciduous rainforest lol
Im just glad my mexi red afghan, and my tammy 2 are far enough along that i can cut em at the start of the rain next week and not worry about quality or mold either one. Got super luck there.
Probably a solid RIP to my Biggs pheno. My friend is gonna put plastic over the dog kennel hers is in lmao. They wont be done til near haloween, mine is rather exposed and im already fighting PM on it, and the septoria is kicking its ass. Its trichome coverage is very spotty, leaves are rough. septoria spots everywhere.... And it smells like old deep fryer grease. Like... the trichomes smell like a KFC that hasn't changed it's oil in a week.
