Well after a relatively mild spring looks like AZ summer is back with a vengeance. This place ain't fit for man nor beast!!!! Frikkn scorcher for sure!!!

Yuck dude....too damn hot. I'm in the socal mountains at 5,000 ft. We hit 94° today....fortunately UPS showed up with the A/C window unit I ordered a week ago. So nice not being miserable in the house any more.

to make matters worse I work as a painter in the construction industry. At my age I have to take great care to stay hydrated and know the signs of heat sickness or heat stroke. My better half in her infinite wisdom bought the work truck I use when we were living in Seattle and to save money bought a truck with a no AC option, as in WA you really dont need to have AC as it only gets real hot for a bit. In her defense she had no idea I was gonna land her azz in hell either. LOL
So I work in this heat all day and then the drive home seals the deal with no AC. Yes I have both windows down but believe me it isnt too much help climbing into a vehicle interior that reaches 140 then it takes me an hour to get home. Then the air rushing in is still 112 -115. What the F%%% was I thinking moving from WA to here????

Come July it will nv\ever drop below a 100 deg even in the evenings. Last summer I could get up at 3 am and it was still triple digits. This last until at least mid to late September.

I know, I know sounds like I'm whining, and you know what I am. I am done sniveling for now. Till tomorrow :rolleyes:

hey cactus put a spray bottle in a smaller cooler and mist yourself on the way home just like a swampy the air and mist will cool u down bro .

I clean carpet for a living and the 20hp motor is in the van I drive, talk about fucking hot lol. It has been 90 or higher since Saturday and today it was 96 at noon. We'll have a few days over a hundred but not many, the humidity is also a comfortable 70-90% lol

Those AZ temps make me squirm. People say it doesn't feel as hot because the air is dry.....but it only feeling like 95 is still bananas! Stay cool everyone, drink that H20!

Still lots of snow to melt in the high country so rivers will be flowing like crazy from melt off...

93* right now and will only get hotter,with the 80-90% humidity. Don't take a shower and go outside anytime after, ruined.. Soaking by the time the door shuts.thats the Dirty South , but I love it.

I left that hell back in 04'......and I have not looked back since.

Our high today was 58. Throughout the next 10 days its supposed to get up to 65 at some point.

Started out a nice 72. It's now about 87. Will heat up to mid 90's weekend forecast 100
Mowed weeds, sweated a bit, got real baked.
Now it's ice coffee time re boot the bake go out and mow another small section then come in to a nice egg salad sandwich, ice cold fresh goat milk and nap in swamp cooled paradise....
