what can effect resin production

my chemreapers r in week 7 and there is virtually no frost.
im very concerned can this b genetioc or something ive done

I noticed my winter run (temps 50-70) my plants (Blue Diesel, Killing Kush and BAgweed) had lots of resin (bugs getting stuck and dying). This summer (above 90) and the same plants are virtually dry.
