So I'm planning my next grow, and I'm considering using this soil https://www.canadiantire.ca/en/pdp/...tings-25-l-1590191p.html?rq=worm+castings#srp

Has anyone ever used this? Would you recommend it?

I only need really 85L of soil substance for the four pots I plan to fill. The PROMIX I want is currently out of stock and would cost $40 to fill four pots if I got from the hardware store, not including the worm castings. This golfgreen stuff would nail everything in one go, if it's good stuff.

Well. i've never used it but looking into soils i've figured out that most bagged compost is usually fresh compost or really bad quality. What kind of promix do they have in stock? do you have EWC?

it's the PROMIX hp. I'm kind of leery about using PROMIX again, as my last grow there were a LOT of sticks and pieces of wood scattered throughout the mix.

I don't have EWC and if I was to opt to use some, that's an extra $30 on top of the $40 for the PROMIX HP ($70). If I was to just grab three bags of this golfgreen stuff, it's a lot cheaper lol. That's like, $30 total. Just not sure if using compost by itself is doable. I wanna do whatever I can to avoid using proSTIX again, as that wasn't a very enjoyable experience..

Yeah you could opt out of EWC for it I guess I use promix BX not many sticks in there. I will say probably more sticks in bagged compost. Can you go and feel the bags before buying?

You can feel the bags, you can't really feel the sticks though. But they're in there
