Growing organic in soil. Tap water with no filter. PH about 7.85 and 320PPM before treatment. Soil PH above 8 when tested. I use PH down to get water down to 6.8. I use GH micro gro at 3ml per gal. When I feed the PPM is around 615 PPM and PH is 6.8. The runoff shows a PH of 5.8 and PPM about 1280. Is this normal? Does this need to be fixed. Plant look healthy and are 3 weeks old fixing to transplant. Let me know where I am at.
Thanks,

Moved thread. Not organic, basic growing information is more appropriate.

You may not be moving enough water through the medium and are creating a build-up of fertilizer. But, if the plants look healthy, I would not advise changing things to go chasing after a number, I would observe closely and be ready to act should something go wrong.

your tap water prolly has chlorine/chloramine in it, so it would be unsuitable for organics anyway
