What does your RO water ph at?

How long have you had your probe for? More than five years? Can you still calibrate it? Why use tap water?

So what's the difference of storing your ph probe in kcl solution rather than tap water the tap water will either leach out or absorb salts in the tap

Couple years now. Yup, still calibrates.
Use tap cuz ro water not good to store probe in.

Never tried kcl. Tap and dish soap has been good to me.

Well kcl solution is the same pH as the reference solution inside the bulb
