What happens if I leave my buds to dry for two weeks or longer?

After I chop down, if I leave them to dry for more than two weeks, can they still be cured? Or are they toast?

It's fine ,2 weeks is an estimate. I have some that have been curing for a year

Not curing in jars, just chopped and left to dry hanging on some string.

you could rehydrate them in a jar with bovedas to 62% if they are to dry for you ?
if you jar them they could lose some of the dryness also.

What us the temp and humidity of the room or tent you are drying in? If you have a space that is 60/60 or close to it then you can hang indefinitely as that environment is as good as you will ever get. If your not dialed in close to 60/60 then no, don't go longer. Is it toast? no. But not ideal. Your toast when your bud turns into crumble cake. Even then it can be used for something.

I'd say if you leave it too long, it will be really dry - not a good taste - with less odor, it looses something. Sometimes I do that, and always regret XD
