Was up was up. Is a 1000w led good enough for a 3x3x6 grow tent
230 is plenty. 30w sq ft isusually recomendedIknow true what is 230 would that b good enough or should I get a bigger one
Imho I know ppl recommend that but with a 6' height I think that's to much I don't know of anyone running 40w a sq ft and having good results unless hanging high which is tough in a 6' tent.rule of thumb is 30-40 watts sq foot.
so 300 real watts would be ok
im running 360 and cant turn up all way causes light stress
on most strains
i had 235 it worked ok but still upgraded
Bit there is a benefit to running over so it's definitely not a waste. LEDs are more efficient at when run underpowered and that means a slight reduction in heat produced at the same wattage of say running a 360 watt light at 300 or a 300 watt light at 300. It's also will increase the life and reduce heat degradation. So your not wrong in recommending higher.yes i agree i think 300 is about right
i have 2 es180’s and never go much over 300watts
I keep light up high for max coverage
Yeah thats 200w and I believe thier dimmers account for the 80% so when set to 100% they are actually running 80% which is 200 watt think they have a 240w driver?I'm using SF2000 in my 3x3x6 tents doing very nicely .
Yep that's right AM .Yeah thats 200w and I believe thier dimmers account for the 80% so when set to 100% they are actually running 80% which is 200 watt think they have a 240w driver?
I'm almost certain but don't take that as gospel.
