soil based. Coast of maine platinum with compost wormcastings perlite and bone meal+1 Small plants in big containers are often tough to keep watered properly
Is that soil or peat based medium?
i have had it in a much smaller pot for much longer. I just transplanted 7 days ago and havent watered since besides a very very light one. They have been declining like this since before i transplanted. You can look at my other posts. It might be overwatering but they just haven't perked up even after a week of not watering. Any suggestions on the actions that i take?its become more popular with new growers to just drop seedlings or clones straight into 3 or 5 gal containers , i still go strictly with stage growing containers , put small plants into small containets , let root , up pot to next size ,
2 or 3 transplants till final container , relieves a lot of space , water , nutrient issues in my experience
Just my experience , others may disagree....
when you transplanted, didn’t you see/look at the roots? notice any browning etc?i have had it in a much smaller pot for much longer. the plant is definitely stunted, something is wrong your roots, or maybe the floor temperature.@dire wolf
The issue continues. The second plants leaves are touching the ground. Does anyone have any ideas for anything i can do to take action?

To cold at night and at that age depending on the lighting used they will do much better in temps from 77-80f
But next time I would up pot as they grow... Like I say watering is going to be a big challenge in those

mopLook at your own words^
You're not overwatering, your improperly watering!
- Roots won't grow into dry soil
If you want to save your plant and learn how to water at the same time, fill up another pot with the same Medium you're using and set it aside dry..
I I’ll try this out, somethings definitely wrong, the seedlings are now starting to droopThis looks like your roots are not thriving. Perhaps the water PH is not right for the soil - that inhibits root growth. You may need to innoculate with a good worm casting tea. Plain water and worm casting tea. No other nutrients!
*****UPDATE******
I took a closer look at the pictures and saw the canoe or taco shape of the leaves. There are two main causes of that, 1 being too much heat and the 2nd is too much Phosphorus when combined with a high calcium product, like bone meal. In a hot soil with lots of P and Calcium, they combine to create Calcium phosphate, or the mineral Apatite. This locks up the P and C, causing deficiencies and usually Ph issues from the apatite. Have you checked your outflow and Ph?
They absolutely don't need food. They have been overwatered. Overwatered plants can mimic underfed plants, because overwatering hurts the root endings, suffocates them. The plant then can't get nutes that are available.Someone said they think it needs more food? I just don’t know if it’s over watered and don’t want to continue the issue
I have to leave my lights on 24hrs when it gets too cold in my basement during veg. The small amount of heat I get off my t5 lights is enough to keep the room warm 75F lights out it drops to 64f too cold so I leave them on.I will check the outflow tomorrow. I haven’t been letting much flow out of the fabric pots since the plants are so to try. I have been letting maybe 5% run out I’m not using bottled nutes right now. I posted above with new pictures
Alright I will stop watering for a bit. I gave them some water yesterday right as the base to try to help the roots out and it had been about 5 days since watering last. The soil on top felt pretty dry . The smaller plants are also starting to look bad. Very early stages. Is it the cold and overwatering for them too? It definitely got way too cold last night. They absolutely don't need food. They have been overwatered. You have to back off, water more rarely, and more precisely. Like a measured cup, right at the root stock. This is one of the hazards of starting little ones in big pots, it's harder to figure out where you're at.
