What is happening?

This is my first grow in a 2x4 gorilla tent. It looked great and then all of a sudden this shoot just shot out of the top of the main cola. I would love to know what happened. Any ideas?

It started around the beginning of flush, it just seemed weird because I also noticed a change in the bud structure. There are two plants in the tent and this is only happening the one of them. However, both plants started producing very white new pistols on the tops of the buds. Thought it was weird that plants that should be two weeks away from harvest would all of a sudden put on new pistols

Check your timers, check if anything you're using in tent may have a lighted switch Etc
