I’ve got 4 different meters and they’re all kind of different

My basement is 29%

the flush mount meter on the tent wall is 35%

The meter hanging on the light in the center of the tent is 48%

and my exhausted air is 47%. Probably why my carbon filter is barely working.

4x4 tent.
5 gallon soil
6 plants.
7 weeks into flower
Just watered yesterday.

All of those rh meters are garbage. You need a bigger one. I've had a few of those and they weren't very accurate.

The answer is they are all right. This is why placement is key in understanding what the humidity around, inside, below, above the plants is. Usually easily seen is outside the tent will be lowest with intake area similar in the middle of the plants can be similar, higher or very high depending on airflow. Likewise above the plants or exhaust. This info can be used to help determine adequate air exchange.

The humidity we need to be concerned about is at the bottom of the leaves and middle of the plants IMO.
