Are they as good as HID. No. But they WILL work just fine.

these same leds have treated me great for several harvest.

these huge buds are just 1 branch from one plants that had about 6 of those. you guys just need to use the right lights from the right company. quality of the buds are great. heres a few pics from different grows ive done. to find the completed journals google my user name.

Yeah, but not from $300 leds.

I bought a UFO 90 2 years ago. It is great for personal use growers, but I think you really need ~ 200 LED watts to 'git R dun'

You can start a bunch of seedlings or clones under a UFO type, but it will only provide enough coverage for one flowering female.

I have a lovely 14" LowRyder X Bubblicious finishing under my UFO 90 as I write this. I cannot imagine having 2 plants under it at the same time.

Lonely Lady is the only female survivor from this grow. She has maybe 7-10 days left. Almost all finishing has been under the UFO 90 with zero supplemental lighting. These pics were taken Saturday, and she probably has 100% more trics now.

If ya make it yerself, a 200 Cree/LedEngin led panel would be less than $1000. That's using 3w and 5w led's.. minimum 400w output, depending what you set the led's current at.

Even cheaper if using Chinese crap.......

So many idiots posted on this thread, LED will work just fine. Even better in the right conditions. You just need to make sure you get the correct spectrum, not the cheap knockoffs... Bunch of noobs telling you to get HPS when you've already explained that won't work, glad you showed them!

We all have our opinion, and we all have our experiences. all i heard in the last couple threads are all people who are blind sided by lack of experience. HPS and LEDs are both great and both have their own advantages. In my personal experience, LED grown herb is by far better then your best HPS systems out there. Im sure all the haters are going to hate on what i said, its all good.
one more thing, lets not forget our mother earth is dying, do it a favor and save some energy.
