what light cycle do you use for 100% sativa's ?

1) 12/12 from seed to finish
2) veg at 18/6 till 6inches high - then 12/12 for flower
3) veg at 12/12 for 3 weeks - then - flower at 12.5 dark /11.5 light

have even seen were on grower vegged a sativa for 50 days and then put in flower (seem way to much veg time)

growing Panama and Malawi - both 1005 sativa strains

Because I'm in tents indoors, I'm managing veg so that I have full canopy coverage in flower. I want zero light hitting the floor after the stretch. 18/6 in veg until I have 50% coverage, then 12/12 from the flip and onward through harvest. With a pure sativa (assuming such things still exist), I err on the side of less coverage/veg time. With more indica, I veg a bit longer.

I mainlined a sativa grow to 8 , Panama red death .
That was a bit too much.
Will try it a bit different next time.
