come to think of it maybe it is brain cells :character0095:

:icon_animal26:

Your right Rollin J, they are more trades, so I guess list trades, skills, attributes that way there is no more confusion. Managment skills are a must in certain situations, running trim crews for example. Maybe it's my brain cells I'm smellin?

A Grower and Seller needs to be a ninja advertiser with appropriate marketing finesse you can find ways to promote your product and cast the light away from yourself. You also need a firm grasp on Math Geography Chemistry and you will also need a bit of a green thumb. You will lead an active lifestyle with plenty of exercise. You will also need a cool head and fast thinking utilizing problem solving skills when faced with various problems arising from your operation. And most importantly ass kissing skills because you need those customers to buy from you or you may need to butter the palm of the local pigs w/e the case catch more flys with honey than vinegar.

i have to agree with pork, the only skill i have ever relied upon in growin is mad num truck skills, that and my unique ability to mind read one letter of a word in any ones mind.

but for real to be a super stoner grower comic book character, i would say you would need to be about 10% broker, 40% to 50% botany expert, 5% sparky, 5% chippy, a small portion of stunt man/ spy/ martial arts expert, about 3% sex god, and a dash of bird watcher for patience. and a whole lotta luv .

i wonder what percentage thc i am, even if was like,,,,, 0.1 percent, thats got to be at least a finger, maybe half, hmmmmm interesting

Skills need to grow GOOD buds.

Patients - Have to wait for seeds to sprout/clones to root; Veg time; Flower time; Dry and Cure Time
Selection - Selecting the right strain for your setup; Selecting the right pheno.
Acting - Like you don't grow bud, or know anything about it.
Carpentry - Can't have other people setting up your grow room.
Electrical - One you may really need to keep your house from burning down.
Botany - Have to know what the plant like to live in and eat.
Math - Equations for room, lights, and other.

Too funny...bro! I think we all fall into your categories we just have different percentages!

- a summary of mankind's skills
- an accurate accountant
- an economical ecologist

I'm not even sure I know what those mean...lol. I think I do, but I don't want to make an ass out of myself.

handyman . done it all. jack of all trades . master of 1 2 maybe 3 .its all bussiness. take care of it .

That definately helps. Personally, I do 90% myself. I don't fuck with electricity though...I want it done right!

Thanks for the contribution Moe Danks, this is a good breakdown for a beginner. As a beginner you don't often realize the multiple aspects to growing.

Most important skill to be able to carry on growing
keeping mouth shut when talking. Know what I mean? Nudge nudge wink wink

That would be rule number 1. Keep your mouth shut or everything you do is in jeopardy.

Growing Wicked Sticky Buds is more about knowledge than skillz. But if u have Green Thumbs that can help a lot. Growing where its ilegal its more about the guts than skillz too IMO.

U need Skill (n knowledge) to Breed. But then again if u have the Guts, Knowledge and Skillz u probably a killer such as GrowMaster for exemple.

...a student. With a good dose of discretion.
...a politician. With ethics.
...a cook. With ability to follow directions. (I didn't say chef, because chefs create recipes, they don't follow them).
Of course, the nunchuks work better than duct tape when you're in a pinch.

Thanks for you contribution! Isn't it amazing how many people think growing herb is for the dumb and lazy? It really does take a lot of different skills, physical and social.

Well, I see what you mean. In retrospect, you can have all the guts in the world, but if you have no brains or skills and your not sitting pretty in the end, that's the bottom line.
