Yo! New to the forums. Have been growing for a few years and I usually get a good amount of trichs on the leaves that get trimmed off After my past harvests, I just shake all my trim and sugar leaves thru a micron screen I have and collect all the kief; but lately, I have been wanting to try something different...

I have about 1-1.5zip of sugar coated greatness and another .5-1zip of fresh popcorn nuggets (didn’t even dry them, straight off the branch to a jar, to the freezer)

What do you guys do with your trim and sugars? edibles? wax?
I would love to hear any & all ideas/recipes that anyone is willing to share!! hahaha

Google "Bubble Bags", watch a few YouTube videos. I got a set to try out this harvest myself.

I actually just added a set to my list of things i need to buy the other day hahaha still need to watch some videos about the process tho.
i’ve heard dry ice is the way to go with the bubble bags?
how much of a yield should I expect with running an ounce of sugar’d out trim? I know it probably depends on the quality of the product I’m trying to get (which size micron bag), but I’m one of those people that believes in QUALITY OVER QUANTITY. Everything I do, I try to do A+.

If your only running an oz of good trim just simmer very low in 2 or 3 sticks unsalted butter and make some brownies, cookies, or gummies.

how long do you have to simmer it in the butter? do you have to strain the actual plant matter after simmering?

First spread your trim out on a parchment covered cookie sheet. Bake at 180 degrees for about 30 minutes.( this is carboxalated weed) Now melt butter in sauce pan add carboxalated trim to sauce pan simmer very low for about 3-5hrs. Now strain trim from mixture and refrigerate. You now have easy cannabutter...

I do anything i want with it.

I'd recommend ice water bubble hash over dry sift. You'll get a higher return with dry sift but the quality is unmatched with bubble hash. Use the bubble bags with ice water and ice and agitate slowly. Run the runoff through the different micron bags and see the results come out. Depending on your sugar leaf content and the trichomes, you can get a very decent return. Again, I'm a quality over quantity person so I don't worry about the yield too much. But from a half ounce of heavy trichome sugar leaves, I came out with 2+ grams of the best micron screen (73u or 90u) hashish. Very blonde and bubbles up to complete vaporization when combusted. 5 star in my opinion. I'm obsessed with hash at heart so I'd love to chat more about this and learn together!

Bought my MBM bout 10 years ago, best weed investment ever>set it and forget it.IMO the bubble bags require to much effort for the desired outcome.
when in doubt smoke it out

Smoke it for sure. But dont throw the trim away do something productive with it.

I dont see anyone mentioning it but tinctures could be tried. If you are american you probably have access to everclear or the like. There is some good recipes around.

I make canna butter and have for years. I use coconut oil and sunflower lecithin. I had the original magic butter machine and now I have the new magic butter machine. But, I only use that for large amounts like my upcoming harvest. I also have a volcano hybrid and what I do now is make small batches with abv using my magnetic stirrer and it’s better than all the other ways IMO. After a week or two of smoking I usually have 10-14 grams of abv, you don’t have to decarb because it already has been and I just add my sunflower lecithin and coconut oil and let this bad boy heat and stir for me.
