I tried to grow these with dry organic amendments. I believe I re-fertilized them too late and all the big leaves died before the plant could use the nutrients.

(Pro tip: I'm growing in 3 gal containers-- most guides use a 5 gal-- probably why I ran out of nutes early!)

They are about in week 4 or 5. With no green leaves I don't think they will progress.

What can I do to get some useable product? I pinched some nugs: not very sticky.

Bubble hash? Dry sift? They are still on the plant.

Thanks for the input!

They sure look sticky enough !! Feed em again n let em ride !!

The buds should be smokeable
I think your overwatering plants in that condition don’t drink much at all yet your soil looks very wet.

Incorrect watering could be the reason they look like they do still that aside the buds should be harvestable and ok
Trimming will be annoying with some of the suger leaves being yellow.

The totally dead leaves should be removed

Well I cut off some buds to put in the food dehydrator and I guess they're sticky enough. Is this enough green to progress? I may stick them outside because I'm running out of space anyway.

Edit: sorry didn't see the other responses. I water to runoff when the plants are droopy and the pots light. Yes the fabric pots are saturated with water when I do this. Still too much?

A BUNCH of leaves turned green to completely yellow in like 3 days.

Edit2: there should be the requisite amount of 2-8-4 flowering nutrient in the soil.... I just administered it a week too late.

As long as they are dry when you water your good.

It’s just with that much yellow they don’t drink much at all.

The ones you picked off if they weren’t ready they will taste “grassy” albeit I sometimes take the odd bud off myself to test.

I wouldn’t stress to much I’ve had plants in that condition in my past & the bud was ok

One of the biggest reasons not to defoliate is you would have had more buffer between your leaves & buds. Nvm next time it’s a lesson learned. Very few people get it bang on first few times. It’s like learning to ride a bike you fall off get back on n try again

The yellowing will progress the leaves are to far gone to recover there’s enough green to let them ride a bit longer but it’s going to come to a point where there isn’t soon & harvesting will be your best option.

They look pretty close to harvest anyway

looks like a bug problem to me judging by your yellow traps full of bugs lol. But it looks fine bro, chop them and harvest. But yeah if you using organic nutrients you have to account for a 1-2 week delay as they take a while to break down in the soil. maybe the defoliating was too early or too heavy

Thank you for the advice. Yeah those yellow sticky traps are very old.

I think you are right about organic nutes taking a minute to be available.

Just FYI: these plants weren't defoliated! That's just the degree to which the problem took hold. Literally every green leaf longer than ¾ inch yellowed in a matter of days.

Granted, these plants always had some problem or another in flowing phase. Leaves curled down and all small. I wanna say that's from growing in a cold basement. Anyway.
