What type of clones should I buy?

What's the fire in Colorado that everyone likes ? In Florida it was the Black Haze , Blueberry , G13 in my area. I have my own hybrid strain of Bubblegum X Super Silver Haze but I would have to start from seeds and they are all different .I would have to plant 7 to get a good mom probably. Still need to back breed it. I want some clones or 24 inch plants whatever is available to start the first time. Any suggestions. I was leading toward the White Widow its my favorite pick so far.

The answer: None...work your seeds instead, they sound much better than 1/2 the crap circulating this state anyway. Bubblegum x SSH sounds fire to me, buddy!

Getting bugs or mildew in your garden will set you back much further than waiting for your seeds to break ground...not to mention jeopardize your current stock, which sounds decent to begin with...

Bro the hybrids I have are extremely bug resistant for some reason. I was at a garden where every plant had bugs except The B B H . As far as the kush fuck'em I had trouble with my purple kush minor ph change and it would wilt thats why they have chemicals specially for kush . The sour diesel seeds I have look nice but its allot of work to find out. I mixed the bubblegum with the super silver haze to make the buds bigger it lost a percentage of strength but gained 20-40 percent more harvest. I haven't gotten a male yet either but they differ because its a hybrid still. Definitely a project on my list
to start some and finish my breed maybe I can mix it with the sour diesel I have will see if any males pop. I want something that has a nice mix of strength to yield ratio. I have a tolerance but before I breed the bubblegum it was hard to get 4 oz off a 3 ft plant and they maxed at 4 ft. Now they get 4-5 ft tall and about 8-12 oz and have way more branches. P.s. thats my gallery pics. Gave someone the seeds and helped a bit thats what they got. It was 6.5 lbs off 3000 watts not sure how many plants I assume 25 - 30 plants 2 1/2 month veg.

ones without mites and powdery mildew. Spray that shit with eagle 20 and forbid. That's the best advice you'll get, save yourself a HUGE headache.

I agree with mofo... unless you know someone you can trust to not give you a cut with pm. Mites are visible and easy to deal with on a clone, but pm may not be visible at all and it will show up later, lurking and ready to fuck it all up when the conditions are just right, which may just be late in flowering. It seems like everyone has a horror story, someone a friend of mine directly knows got ditchweed clones, and I got mislabeled clones with pm myself.

That said if you want to roll the dice treat the plants for mites, root aphids and pm as a preventative measure.

speakin of the goat, got some veggin now...never grown em out. thinkin about throwing them right in my mpb's to try and have some fun. couldnt find any good info or growlogs...can anyone suggest a good flip height, ive got 40" centers..

The goat is part ISS, probably will get a decent stretch. I would say 18" if it's gonna rock an MPB like I think it will. I had a run of afghani that went through 70 gallons of water and filled a 5 gallon bucket full of roots in 3 days. they grew about 15-18" in 3 days. And this wasn't a crazy strain. MPB's rock that shit.

i can see the goat getting pretty big in a mpb setup. i agree with Sputnik about flipping them at 18". 40" centers can get tight in an mpb setup.

Love the goat, but never found any seeds for it. Cuts I've seen around town (at least supposedly is it). I've never seen a Goat plant in person so can't be sure when I look at clones.

You are going to love the goat. She is vigorous as hell. She will double/triple in size but bushes out more than stretches tall so grow her out pretty well in veg. Should not take long she grows fast.

I bought sourdiesel clones from a guy on craigslist, and I followed up and he never 'remembered' the strain he sold me, so I question that it was actually sourd.

In my opinion as a new grower, don't bother with a clone. Start from seed. Use your own or take advantage of local seed companies (centennialseeds). They have fantastic genetics, and the staff is awesome. They post here as tripreport (I think).

The reason I won't use clones from mmc's is because they would never give away a live plant that produces profitable medicine. The only clones you'll ever see at an mmc will be genetics they can afford to 'give away'. They realize that every clone they sell has potential to affect their profits. Don't buy a clone from an mmc.

If you know a caregiver/grower with solid genetics, that's your best bet. Don't buy clones from mmc's or places like craigslist where you can't personally verify genetics. It might take more time to pop seeds, weed out females etc, but it's worth it. You take a risk buying a clone for all the reasons already discussed.

You could always try asking the Farm community for any genetics that they would be willing to share. I know I have gotten a few winners from people over past months.

The clones will get you started faster, just quarantine them while you spray them down for PM and Mites, you should be fine.

Keep popping beans, you never know what gems may be hiding in there.

Thanks guys I think i'm gonna start mine and borrow some clones to start from a local. I only need 6 . So I can pop my girls while the others finish. I want to wait at least till I know they haven't denied my application before I get ahead of myself. Popping the new ones is such a small thing for at least a month so I will be fine I will pop out the t8 till I get the go ahead (approval) and then hit the nitrous.

Do you have access to good genetics? I don't know of a local caregiver who is worth a shit near centennial. Most people I know who grow only grow for profit and don't pay attention to things like ph.

I have recently found a caregiver outside parker, and that person sells clones, seeds, and breeds his own hybrids. He won't sell medicine to anyone who isn't his primary patient, but he'll sell seeds and clones all day as long as you have your paperwork. Do you have someone similar?

I think it's difficult for new posters to 'connect' outside of the site for obvious reasons. I wish there was a website or community that could bring together patients and caregivers looking for eachother.
