I've have this problem where the leaves turn away from the light. I think they should be greener also. They look lazy, like they can't be bothered to raise all the way up.

It a small bubbler using only Pure Blend Pro Grow and a little Epsom salt. I had very good results with these nutes a few years ago during my last grow. but this time it seams there is something missing. PPM is just shy of 800. pH is 6.7.

I've been trying to clone, but they stubbornly refuse to make roots. These girls are getting too big already. I'd like to find out what's wrong, get a clone, and flower these bitches. They are mature. Both seeds popped on November 7. I've failed solving this problem for months.

over watering i believe.

That was my first instinct too.

Stupidthing, your pH is too high. You have it at 6.7 it needs to be around 5.7. Get it down first and foremost. Being in a bubbler I am not sure about the over-watering being a problem. I have a feeling when you lower the pH the plants will quickly look much better.

^^I agree with above post. I'm assuming that when u say bubbler its a simple DWC with air stones. If so then ur PH is way to high -Keepz

Oops, that was a typo. It is 5.7. Finger must have slipped or something. I keep it around there. Sometimes after a water change it will drift up a little past 6.0, but not a lot.
It a DWC bubbler bucket, how can it be over watered? because I couldn't find anything better locally when I popped the seeds, I used 75% coco, and 25% vermiculite. could that be the reason for my over watering? I've got a big bag of Hydroton now, but it's too late to change it now. But I need a clone from each of these plants before i flower them. Will they even yield properly in this state?

I would guess to much N. They look pretty dark green to me. I would feed them a little less and see if they perk up. Are the roots healthy?

I think your medium is a huge factor. They do look overwaterd and now that I see your nit using hydrton. I bet thats got a lot to do with it. Dont flower until they are perky and growing fast, they wont do well in their current condition. I would almost try to transplant but thats iffy. I really dont know what to tell you.

How developed our your roots? have any root porn? if they are not submerged in the nutrient solution then a) ur nutrient solution might be too hot and/or b) if they are underdeveloped... ur plants might be overwatered because ur coco medium doesnt hav a chance 2 ever dry out and neither do ur roots -Keepz

I don't think a transplant will work. the root ball is big and tangled. there is no way for me to remove them from the net pot and them survive.
Temps were a little chilly the last two weeks. I have just renovated the grow box. I've got a thread in the micro grow section describing it. But in the box the temps stay @ 76 on and 72 off. Of course that might change come Summer. the roots are healthy.
As far as humidity, the South is humid. nothing I can do about it. We'll have summer days of >105 degrees and 95% humidity. I miss the north.

I'll weaken the nutes and see what happens.

so i did a partial water change. got the PPM down to 300 and ph 5.7. I also lowered the water level a little to get it farther away from the bottom of the pots.

last night I put the plants in dirt, err, soil.
I hate dirt. It's dirty. I just buried the net pot and everything in 2 gallon containers. I hope they will look better in a couple of days.
I also did a foliar spray using 1/2 Cal Mag+ and PBP Grow @ 350 PPM. I hope that they will be able to get some of the nutes that are locked out and recover faster.

i had the same took to my plants but the problem i had was the kerosene heaters giving off to much fumes in the room. even with my fans pumping air out. i went with ceramic heaters (which is killing my electric bill)but my plants look amazing & r growing fine now:passingjoint:
