Go easy on the nutes, don't blast it full strength. Start with about 25% strength and gently work up. Vary easy to burn young plants

I plan to start feeding a little early next time to see how that works

That soil is garbage, I just looked it up. It has no compost, worm castings and no perlite. It's just peat, chicken manure and kelp meal.
It looks like you may have root rot because the soil has no drainage inputs. They absolutely have to have perlite or other drainage inputs especially babies. I always add extra perlite to my seedlings soil. I just killed two the same way, forgot to add perlite.

this soil has some mixed review on amazon.

it's supposedly an enriched soil, so you shouldn't need to feed anything for like 3 6 weeks when you experience a vigorous and healthy growth on start up.

But your plant is stunt since start up, 3 weeks old plant should be much bigger, doesn't look like deficiency at all to me more like burn, so i wouldn't start feeding, might get things worse.
