What's happenin to my new growth?!

Pictures below were taken 2 days apart same time of day. HELP! What's going on? May 30 was 2 days without water, May 31st 9pm the got their feeding/watering.

I'm concerned with how droppy the fan leaves are, and how yellow the new growth on top us becoming.

Diatomaceous earth. Pest control.

Usually, DE is spread on the top of the soil. It only affects critters that crawl. I recommend brushing it off the leaves. I don't know if it would do any harm there, though.

I believe I see indications of nutrient lockout. That's the yellowing of new growth. How often do you water?

Dang. 3-4 days. With pure watering (no nutes) every other time.

Nutrient lockout can be caused by too frequent watering. It will look like nutrient deficiency, but it isn't. It's when the plant can't use the nutrients that are available.

Think it might've been light stress. Moved the lights up about 8 inches and this is the result within 16 hours afterwards. Tops are already starting to darken a bit.

Lights: 315W CMH (brand unknown). Plants are about 6 weeks into veg. Lots of topping too early which slowed the growth wayyyyy down.
