You'd be best to use distilled water which should be 7.0 pH to begin with. For Mg, about neutral pH is good for plant absorption. I would turn the lights down not off. It's also "best practice" to give your plants time to dry before lights out time. You prefer to have dry plants through the darkness hours.

my plants got too close to the light
I use advanced nutrion rhino skin, consosour bloom a+b bud factor + bud ignitor. This happened after I set the dimmer to 70% and raise the temperature. No apologies needed. I’m not surprised it’s the northern lights that is not happy with the light. It’s a northern cold weather strain. One from a place not sunny and warm.
The main point is, it’s nothing bad or horrific or anything that cannot be fixed. It’s a normal part of growing. Don’t let it make you anxious, maybe learn to enjoy the grow

You need to prepare yourself for more problems than that without freaking or your not going to be able to enjoy what your doing.

Cannabis is a hardy plant bud unless you chop it in half it won’t die just like that and even if you did chop it in half the bottom would still live and if you really wanted to you could probably tape it back and it would heal trying to get you to understand how hard it is to actually kill the plant
