It is, and in fact there are areas with more and areas with less, and I recently learned that rice is an accumulator of arsenic and so if you have small children/infants, do not feed them rice from Texas as it has the highest arsenic levels, whereas California rice has the lowest. Even organically grown rice has arsenic, since it accumulates it.According to that Arsenic is naturally occurring in all sorts of things,38th on the list of what makes up rocks in the world ,so organic isn't the resolve either with it found in fish and plant material .. it's all within acceptable levels ,so maybe it's not an issue .. just seems if one could grow herb without it ,wouldn't be a bad idea ..
