I was wonder the best method for drying meds in the hot/humid areas of the country? Last summer I had some colas mold out and would like to avoid that at all cost.

If drying your indoor garden you can use the same area you grew it in. It should already be set with good temp and humidity controls.

If outdoor, buy a dehumidifier and do what you need to keep temps in check.

My dry rooms have always been cooler than 72F / 21C. Layed out on screens, with lots of air flow, dehumid set at 35% for two days, two days just on sreens, mix it around everyday. When the tiny buds can crumble (dry), I put in a thick contractrator garbage bag to bring the moisture out from the big stems into the buds. Usually for about 12 hours. Then back on the screens for a few if needed. When the medium stems are snapping they are ready to be bagged and sealed. If you let it 'sweat' in the black bags too long, it can ruin the smell.

Again, it all depends on how much you're working with, but everytime I do use a dehumid.
