The condition of the roots. Do they smell? Are they brown, shriveled? Or are they fat and white? Do you see anything like a pest of some sort attached to the roots? Does anything fly out when you upend the plant?

Roots look good nothing flying out or eggs. They continue to die. :-(

Oh Seamaiden, as much as it pains me to see them die 2 of 4 may make it. Thank you so much for your input. I have learned many things. We will work it out, and rise from the ashes. ;-)

The picture is not very good but it looks like you may have a zinc deficiency. Zinc def comes on faster than any deficiency I know. Literally in 5 days your plants can go from beautiful to shit once the Zn is gone. Zn def looks like someone spray painted your leaves....kinda rusty. Can we see a better pic?

Nothing changed but you started watering from the top??????
If that is true then is it possible that the build up of nutrients' because of bottom watering
was released because you were washing it down to the roots that I bet are rust red.
