whats topping? how do i do it?

my blueberry is starting to get too tall, how do I deal? Ive read blueberry is a strain that doesnt reach its potential unless its been topped.

usually its best to top when its shorter. take a razor blade or scissors cut above the 4th node so what would have been side branches are now recieving the auxin hormones so they will grow as your main shoots now.

it's FIM not MIF, that's why you're having trouble finding it.

after you watch those you should do a search on YouTube
for 'supercropping' and 'pinching', 2 methods to maximize
your plants and turn them into bush's with many cola's.
(actually, supercropping and pinching are the same thing)

where topping goes at the bottom of the node, a FIM is at the top of the node. a top will produce 2 shoots normally, while a FIM will produce 4-8 shoots. more shoots = more tops.

in this video he does a top. to do a FIM just cut 1/16" or so higher. you want to leave the bottom 20% of the node still on the plant.
