Whats up with stg fiber?

What do you think about using the SureToGrow fiber versus cocoa and rock wool?

it looks simple no ph'ing, no washing the shit off or conditioning it, it doesnt wick holds 30 to 50% its weight in liquid.. whats the catch? im sure you guys know!

hmm i dont know i thought about doing a drip system with them but they absorb alot of water and dont the rock wool and cocoa drain?

ive used them instead of rockwool and they work the same. I do remember seeing a video of a flood and grain with them and thats apparently not the way to go because they float.
