What's Your Favorite Brand For A 600w Bulb?

I've been using the cheaper off brand bulbs at my local shop and they seem to be just fine.

But does anyone have recommendations on better quality bulbs that may increase yield or last longer ?

I'm using a digital ballast . Up to 1000w but I'm only using it up to 600w for the small space it is in. Figured 1000w might be a bit much for a smaller tent heat wise . Although it is air cooled .

Woahhh like 104 for that bulb. Crazy expensive. But if it increases yield like they say. Would be worth it ! Thanks for the suggestion !

I was using apollo bulbs. I did swap them.every 10 week flower run. +1gpw always

Sunmaster 600 HPS and a Hortilux 400 HPS. This will be my last grow with the 4 bulb and the first with the Sunmaster (used a Hortilux Blue in veg). Eager to see how the Sunmaster performs..

I would buy a 1000 watt bulb and keep your ballast on 600w. You may decide to use 1000 watts someday.

On the hortilux website they say not to dim them. When you dim your bulb you lose spectrum

Lots of people dim 1000's to 600 regardless of the bulb. Think the spectrum loss is minimal.
