What's your plan for the next time you lose power?

My county is currently under an ice storm warning for the next 27 hours. Up to a 1/2" of freezing rain possible There have to be many indoor growers in the path of this storm facing the same possibilty of losing power. I'd like to see or hear about your back up systems for keeping your grow going.

Mine is a simple 12v battery and a couple LED lights. I hooked the lights up and started keeping track of how long it would keep them lit. I stopped the test at 30 hours, lights still glowing. Should be more than enough to get me through 2 days of photoperiod. I can charge the battery with my truck & jumper cables. As long as my truck has gas, I can keep the photoperiod going indefinitely.

I need to figure out how to power my inline fan my circulating fan and my light.

After an ice storm kept us dark for 9 days a few years back I have generators and keep 3 days worth of fuel on hand. The value of whats growing far exceeds the cost of a generator at my house

Ice storms are common here, bought a generator that runs my whole house 15 years ago or so. My room don’t miss a beat.

I figured there'd be a lot of " I got a genny" responses. Anyone have a non- genny solution to power loss?

My current backup system is to whine to the power company. I'm working up to putting solar panels on the roof, but that won't be happening right away.
