When does buds stop growing?

I am so confused havent grown any photoperiods only autos and i have read a dozen articles on when your buds stop growing some say week 6 others say they grow until week 8

Just curious my plant here is not heavily loaded yet
and its 5 weeks in flower tomorrow

It would be fine for me but wouldent bother me if it put on some more weight

Just curious i am not used to a flowering period in the same way as photos does it

I don't pay attention to weeks, but your plant looks like it has a few more weeks to go till it's ready for harvest.

Regarding when they stop growing... An indication I like is when new white pistils stop appearing at the top of the buds.

Its estimated at 8 weeks so im aiming for that but i will still keep a close eye on those trichs in week 7

Good plan! I believe breeders generally provide good estimates, but they can't predict what we do. Growing methods do matter. Your plant looks wonderful. However long it takes, it sure looks like you're going to have a great harvest.
